James (Jim) Rugg, B.A. (1974), BAHC (1976), M.A. (1980)
Jim Rugg is a practicing lawyer in Saskatoon and the University of Regina Alumni Association’s representative on the University of Saskatchewan Senate. After graduating with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in English from the U of R, Jim moved to Saskatoon where he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Continuing Education from the U of S in 1981 and an LLB in 1986. He has been a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan since 1987 and is a solo practitioner specializing in real estate, wills and estates.
Jim credits the University of Regina as being a cornerstone and launchpad to achieving all his life’s ambitions and is appreciative of the university’s administration, staff and students for stimulating his lifelong love of learning and inquiry.
